A trip to the Ozarks is not complete with spending some time outside. Our property is 180 acres, and has several trails for you to explore. Check out nearby Maramec Springs Park for great trails- some challenging and some paved, accessible to all. They also have a historic iron mine, and a trout hatchery. Onondaga State Park is a quick 20 minute drive away, featuring a guided cave tour, playground, picnic areas, swimming beach and miles of hiking trails. Try the Oak Ridge Trail for a scenic 3 mile loop. Floating Information Planning a float trip? I stayed here with my kids, my parents & my 2 dogs. We had an amazing time. We had one small issue when we first got there, I messaged the host and got a reply right away, and got things worked out. Courtney was who I dealt with and she was super friendly and helpful. The home itself is beautiful and comfortable. The view is awesome and the private river access was just perfect for us. We had a great time and all want to come back soon!

It was the perfect place for a short family getaway. Great area to explore and also close enough to StLouis to make a day trip. The back patio and the views were amazing!

5 stars - a perfect stay We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! The location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of break we needed. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen to soft bedding and great outdoor seating. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the river—we’re already talking about coming back!

This was a great weekend getaway for our family! Snow Spring Ranch is the perfect combination of nature and luxury. We tried the float from Bird's Nest to the Snow Spring gravel bar. They picked our family up at the gravel bar, we put in a raft at Bird's Nest and floated right back to our gravel bar. It was very peaceful and private. We only came across a few kayaks on the water the entire way. It was great having the kitchen and plenty of space to eat and sit both inside and outside. There were deer drinking from the river while we watched from the patio. Beautiful wildlife, lots of chirping birds and even cows grazing in the pasture across the river. The sunset was something I looked forward to watching every evening. Town is so close but still feels far away. We hope to visit again sometime! It was a great way to slow down and enjoy our time together.

We came and stayed for a float trip 6 guys. Absolutely loved the place and it was the perfect base camp for float activities. The view is incredible and the river access private beach was another big plus. Will be coming back to stay with my family.
